Welcome and thank you for taking your time to read through my site!
I decided to become a trader after getting divorced in the fall of 2006. I read some books and then studied and passed the Series 7 and opened my account with Bright Trading in September of 2007. Having time and flexibility to be a full-time dad to my daughter was a critical need in both of our lives. My father traded for his own account in the OEX pit on the CBOE for nearly two decades spanning the late 70's to early 90's. After a short and slow change of pace from floor retirement, he found his way back to it, through his old friends Bob and Don Bright, and began another fifteen years of trading electronically with their firm, still for his own account. He certainly warned me of the difficulties of trading professionally and especially of being able to control your emotions, and that the turbulence in my personal life would not make trading easier. But I was ready and determined. I couldn't have done it without his help and support, and even as great of a coach and mentor that he was, I'm here to tell you that trading is probably the hardest thing you'll ever learn. While my path was inconsistent and frustrating, I was finally able to realize where I fit, and how the markets could work for me, and I'm here to help you do the same. Nothing fancy. No big secrets. Only what you're looking for and what you need. And the best part is that it won't cost you an arm and a leg to decide if I can help. Sure, I'd like to make something for my time, but I also believe in giving back and passing on what you've learned. I have learned a lot, and experienced a lot, and I am passionate about the markets. Having the opportunity to share what I can and maybe make a difference in your trading and your personal life, would be my pleasure.

How we'll work
I'm interested in a cooperative working arrangment for all parties. I realize that not everyone is as lucky as I was in having a great mentor at their fingertips, so I'm trying to offer that kind of service, but in a format where you can decide if this is something you value and might benefit from. We can email or talk, and if you think it might work after an initial free session, I would ask you to pay me a small fee for my time and assistance. I want this to be small enough that you feel comfortable trying it out, and if it's helpful, we can continue for as long as we'd like. I'm just very passionate about the markets and what I do and I simply enjoy discussing the details of how things work. To do so in a casual, inexpensive format, where you're not taking a lot of extra risk or capital to try to find some answers, I think, is a service that people may appreciate. My suggested hourly rate is $100/hour, but I'm glad to work in 15 minute increments, and I'm glad to negotiate with you if you need. Mostly, I ask that if you learn and value the service, that you pay what you think it's worth.
